.....folgte der nächste Höhepunkt mit dem Gunter Hampel Trio und dem Break-Dancer Prince Alegs. Hampel, ein Altmeister des Free Jazz, bildet mit Christian Weidner am Saxophon und mit Gerrit Juhnke am Schlagzeug schon seit sechs Jahren ein Team, dessen musikalische Sprache durch ihre Stringenz, sensible Synchronisation und genaues Aufeinandereingehen beeindruckt. Das Trio zelebriert die Kunst der Übersetzung ganz persönlicher Inspirationen in eine Musik, die die Formulierungen des Einzelnen zum gemeinsamen Dialog erweitert und fortentwickelt. Die Kombination mit der Körpersprache von Prince Alegs, dessen Ausdruckskraft und tänzerisches Vokabular weit über den Break-Dance hinausgeht, steigerte die Performance zu einem intensiven Gesamtkunstwerk aus Musik und Tanz.
....highlight of the festival: The GUNTER HAMPEL TRIO + PRINCE ALEGS are forming a team whose musical language impresses by it's compelling nature, their syncronisation and exact approaching one another. The TRIO celebrates the incredible art of translating quite personal inspirations into a music, which expands the formulations of each individuum to a mutual shared dialog and develops them further and further down the road .The combination with the body language of Prince Alegs, whose power of expression and his dance-vocabulary goes far beyond breakdancing, increases the performance to an intensified COMPLETE-WORK-OF-ART of MUSIC and DANCE.
