gunter hampel will be 65 on august 31.
Born in 1937 he has been living through a very special time - zone, which has been documented since 1969 on the birth label and serves as a documentation of a "genuinely innovative jazzman"(Nat Hentoff).
and stands for " a landmark of international music, with potential consequences we cannot even yet imagine"(Nat Hentoff)
      we have dedicated this years concert series with Gunter Hampel as his 65 birthday celebration tour and are documenting as much as possible on CDs,VIDEOs as we progress.
Birthday greetings are coming in from all over the world already and a lot of journalist have been asking for news , details on the tours and CDs and Videos for their writings in magazines, newspapers and radio broadcasts.
